Megan is a third-year doctoral candidate in the Department of International Politics at Aberystwyth University. Her thesis focuses on the sexual-affective economy of contemporary Cuba, the state’s response to it, and the impact on political subjectivity for Cuban women. She is interested in feminist, queer and postcolonial perspectives on politics.
